Alpine All-Electric Future with high-performance line-up at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed

From Alpine Cars Press Release

At the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Alpine  hosted the exciting electrified concepts that hint at the shape of things to come from the brand, including the recently-launched Alpine A290_β and Alpine A110 E-ternité.

Hot off the global launch in Bristol, the Alpine A290_β will be showcased on the 1.16-mile Hill throughout the four-day event as part of the First Glance display, and will be driven by Alpine’s development driver, David Praschl. The Alpine A290_β will offer visitors an exciting insight into the future of the legendary brand and its vision for the hot-hatch of the future.

The Alpine A110 E-ternité is featured in Goodwood’s Electric Avenue. The 100% electric open top sports car illustrates how the brand’s ethos of light weight and handling agility can be translated into a fully electric future, preserving and future-proofing the illustrious Alpine name.

Alpine also showcasing its radical new Alpine A110 R, which features exclusive enhancements to its body and chassis to achieve substantial reductions in weight and a sensational boost to its performance and handling. Its 300hp turbocharged engine, capable of sprinting from 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds, will be heard echoing off the famous flint wall as it makes four runs up the Goodwood Hill.

The A110 R is joined by the recently unveiled, limited edition Alpine A110 R Le Mans, which celebrates Le Mans’ centenary and will be driven up the Hill throughout the four-day event. Limited to just 100 cars, the A110 R Le Mans edition is based upon the A110 R and features carbon wheels with blue lining and brake calpipers, a shark fin inspired by the Alpine A480 LMP1 race car, plus Le Mans scripts in the interior.

The Festival of Speed runs over four days, was from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th July, set against the spectacular backdrop of Goodwood House in West Sussex.
